DELIVERING AN EXPANSION FOR THE AUSTRALIA BUDDHIST BLISS CULTURE MISSION

Sam Lim MP today announced that a re-elected Albanese Labor Government will deliver funding for the expansion of the community hall at the Australian Buddhist Bliss Culture Mission (ABBCM) in Willetton.

This $1.6 million election commitment will support an expansion of the current building and improvements to indoor and outdoor community spaces to better facilitate community engagement.

The upgrades include a reconfigured courtyard and parking area, a kitchen relocation and technology upgrades to better support the growth in the community and cultural programs offered by ABBCM.

The Albanese Labor Government’s deep commitment to modern multicultural Australia is reflected in projects across Tangney, one of the most diverse electorates in Australia with more than 160 different ancestries represented.

Consistent with past practice, election commitments will be delivered in line with Commonwealth Grants Rules and Principles.
