LOCAL PROJECT TO SHARE IN $50.4 MILLION FUNDING BOOST


An innovative project in Tangney is being backed by the Albanese Labor Government’s Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-P) grants.

Aquila Scientific been granted $2,979,000 for a unique multipurpose platform to improve medical and veterinary health, as part of Round 17 of the program.

Aquila Scientific is one of 21 projects sharing in $50.4 million through the latest round, which focused on supporting the Albanese Government’s national priority areas for science and research, as well as the National Reconstruction Fund.

These grants help to improve the competitiveness, productivity and sustainability of Australian industries by supporting partnerships that bring together science, research, and commercialisation.

Since its inception in 1990, the CRC Program has helped to fund the commercialisation of technologies, products and services across a range of sectors and industries, including agriculture, clean technology, infrastructure, mining, manufacturing, and health.
